Black nightshade

Nightshade Solanum nigrum is an annual herb with erect growth habit. The leaves are ovate with short shaft. The flowers look like white stars with yellow stamens. The berries are black.
Black nightshade contains atropine and scopolamine, atropine is analgesic and scopolamine are medicines for motion sickness. Black nightshade is included in some Flying ointments.

Sweet sweet Bittersweet

Bittersweet Solanum dulcamara gets up to 2 m high and is two years. It clings on other plants and has ovate leaves with tabs at the base. The flowers look like purple stars with yellow stamens. The berries are bright red. Besksötan contain the alkaloids atropine and solamin. Atropine is analgesic and anti-bradycardia.

How I became a heathen

I've always seen myself as a believing Christian. As a child I believed in God, as a lost teenager I doubted for a while and as an adult I saw the signs and knew His presence.I sang in the church choir and was involved in church activities. But a few years ago I started to feel other things, to feel more and more drawn to the Nordic gods. I felt their presence in the ancient groves and thought for a while on both the Christian God and the Nordic gods, I had seen them all!
But it happened this summer:
 I was called by Odin! The great god, the god of wisdom.
 It was so fantstiskt that it took several days to understand that it really had happened, although I'm not very surprised, I've felt His presence several times.
But the Christian God then? Well I think he's exist, but it's not my way to go. I follow the Nordic gods, Odin and Freya, mother the earth.

Fullmoon and money

The other day I made a moneydrawing altar with various moneydrawing herbs, acorns, magnets and money. When I went shopping exclaimed a man I met "Oh my god, she's beuteful!" then at work came several people back and gave me compliments on my appearance. At home, my husband was unusually affectionate. Addition, the top went by myself as in a rush, had several visions that led me forward in my tentative witch-development. I began to think that my moneymagic gone awry and become some kind of lovedrawing ritual but then I saw the big round moon and realized that there is a full moon. That would explain things!
So out dancing singing and  enjoy the big beautiful moon this the night!

Hello and welcome to my blog. My workbook is running out so I decided to post it online so others could benefit from it. I have not been doing witchcraft for so many years even though I've always been a witch. A year ago, I found my mentor and my path, the poison path.
